CAMPUS AT LEGACY WEST

Formerly the corporate headquarters for J.C. Penney, The Campus at Legacy West is now home to an urban lifestyle center with unique shopping and award-winning restaurants. The developers engaged Birch to develop its site and make it ready for a new ground-up hotel. Birch team assessed the site and met with the team to identify issues that would impact construction.

Together, we found the highest priority actions could be phased across six months, beginning with draining and relocating the edge of the existing retention pond to create a new 3+ acre lot for the hotel. Site development also included installation of a new 15 foot retaining wall and two large reinforced concrete boxes culverts to support drainage.
