THE JOULE

The Joule, a luxury hotel in downtown Dallas, selected Birch to renovate its street-level space by merging the spa reception area and art gallery into a larger, unified spa. The expanded spa, unveiled in August 2024, now features a spacious new reception area, 1,000 additional square feet of retail space, and an express facial bar with a dedicated storefront opening onto Main Street.

Due to the building’s age, the project team encountered significant plumbing challenges, as existing lines did not match the plans. Birch resolved this by locating the lines and incorporating a chase within a false wall, allowing for precise installation and seamless integration with the new design.
